For the love of God.

Spang.
Hello campers! Sorry for the utter shitness of my updating, but been busy with life stuff and other annoying things that tend to happen to people. All is good - in particular my trip to India was great, and spending time with Vicky in a foreign country was wonderful - sadly, the work job in Goa appears to have fallen through (i was meant to have gone to Goa to do a survey on insects in a national park). This has left me a little miffed. Also, it has come to my attention i need to find somewhere to live. Pronto. Bearing in mind i only earn £280 a month, this has proven rather hard living in Brighton - anyone know someone wheo wants a cheap barmonkey to come live in their cupboard? or a better paid job possibly? Other thgan thaqt, everything has been going smoothly, and i hope it's been the same with everyone else :) Speak to you all soon Marky x Current Mood: worriedCurrent Music: Scrubs on the TV | | Thursday, November 30th, 2006 | | 7:54 pm |

Smeeged from granite_lullaby | You Are 33 Years Old | Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view - and you look at the world with awe.
13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.
20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.
30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You've had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!
40+: You are a mature adult. You've been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax. | | | Thursday, March 16th, 2006 | | 3:03 pm |

Sorry for the lack of updates on my oh-so dull life. Been busy with work-related thingies - mainly to do with unfair dismissal etc... But that's another story. In the meantime, i'm working at a different pub in Brighton - one I've tried to get work at for a good 3 years, so the wait paid off Mind you it was worth waiting for Vicky too :) I'm not going to go into "my god my life sucks" rant, becasue i can't be bothered, and to be honest when i think about it it really doesn't - it just has bad patches at the moment. All is good. kinda. :) Got a bug meeting in London this weekend, then to the parents for a bit - Vicky is coming too, so this could be interesting. Just hope it all works out OK... Then off to Nightshade on the 21st, and maybe Strength Through Joy the Weekend after - we'll see how finances go.. Hope eveyone else is OK and stuff Much Love Marky xxxxxxxx Current Mood: cynicalCurrent Music: Skinny Puppy - Killing Game | | Tuesday, November 22nd, 2005 | | 1:54 am |

I appear to have been tagged by annomalley. Name five celebrities that you find attractive and then tag five of your friends to copy this to their LJ: 1 - Sigourney Weaver 2 - Winona Ryder 3 - Johnny Depp 4 - Kate Ashfield 5 - Diane Kruger And i nominate.... al_destruktor, kieran418, icklepenguin, granite_lullaby and nim! :P Just about sorted out everything i need to take with me tomorrow - no doubt i'll think of something else... Better set the alarm clock, despite it's evilness. I really want a Monkey Army T-shirt i've decided. I'll go mug my cat for the monies. Well, what a great week i've had down here! Bumped into alot of old friends, had many many beers and generally had a good time all round. Also managed to get my old job back, which should be fun :) Should be moving down on the 15th maybe, and quite possibly getting my old room back too! Huzzah! I make that Pimms O'Clock :P No to go meet Kieran down the pub later, then mooch about before i return to Wiltshire tomorrow to sort out insecty type stuff - yay! Busy busy busy!!! Been working on more papery type stuff for the insects - managed to get a couple of drawings done of the eggs, which re pretty much essential for the paper. Now just to draw the apex of the females abdomen showing the unique lamina supranaalis. Or something. Bristol Zoo went well - we set up the Phasmid Study Group stand at about 9ish, and didn't leave till gone 5 o'clock! a busy long day, but pleasantly sunny and warm, with a hell of alot of interest shown by young and old. In fact, the zoo invited us back to do another one maybe in september! yay us!!! Also had a good look "behind-the-scenes" at the "bughouse", which was utterly fascinating, including seeing a breeding program for a primitive wasp, the name of which escapes me :) Yay! I also stared at the Prairie dogs, which are soo CUTE!! I presonally think they should be renamed Papagonian Pygmy Ferrets. That would be cool. One annoying thing so far this morning. The dog decided to pull some things off the diningroom table, including my digital camera, which is now broken. Bugger. Was hoping to take it to Brighton :) Which brings me to m other point. I should be in Brighton next Wednesday (the 29th) for a week or so maybe, to see aaaaaalll my fwends :P Rather looking forward to it actually! Now - to go do some gardening and feed the insects, then more drawing *groan* La la la How's everyone else doingo n this fine day? Moo ooM
Gosh it's late. Couldn't sleep, and i finished my book, so thought i'd sod about till i felt sleepier :P Well - what a busy week it's been! Managed to knock out 7 technical drawings for the three papers i'm doing on stick insects (1 possible new species, 2 culture reports), so i'm impressed, as i'd thought i'd lost the "touch" for drawing :) Mebbe i can get those tattoo ideas down too? :D Now just the technical bit to do *sigh* - You want some copies icklepenguin? Also, managed to plan the majority of what's going on at the exhibition at Bristol Zoo Gardens - We've got a stand to promote the Phasmid Study Group, and all should go smoothly, but knowing things something will come up at the last minute :P. The most annoying thing is i've got to meet someone on saturday to finalise details about it, and another paper that's in the pipeline, and sort out committee type things for the PSG AGM in London in July. This means i can't make it to annomalley's House Partay thang :( I was really looking forward to going too :'( In other news my cat rocks. Everyone should meet my cat. Also i've found some insects in one of my cages that i thought had died out - somehow there must still have been some eggs in the bottom of the cage, and they hatched and started going again. Considering i was treating them with kid gloves before and they all died, but since they've been "neglected" they seem to be doing fine. Odd. Oh, they're these chaps. Err... yay! i'm feeling slightly tired! woo! Maybe it has something to do with the 14 cups of coffee i had this morning? No idea. More details tomorrow! Squeeeeeeee!!!! Oh. Have a kitten.WUV!! Terminate Your Existence.
How much is it for a hug? will someone please tell me? I'm quite willing to fork out for it, bearing in mind I'm quite happy to kill for one right now, and a few shiny coins is much better than a prison sentence. So - anyone up for a hug?? I reckon I should have it sweeeeet. Living with the parents, minimal rent to pay, "no-need" for a job, food and water provided.... but I want more. I want to be back out there with the stars. *I'm losing my mind* I'm not really to be honest, I just want the physical feel of a hug. it feels good, doesn't it? Be honest now.... :) Also - Port is good. Be honest now.... Maybe I'm rambling, but if people want a hug, I'm quite willing to dispense, with no sex thangs attached, even tho' no saxy since June last year, which I don't care about sex is bad. someone prove otherwise - please. Um - I think I've ranted enough don't you?? Not even sure why I should rant to be honest, just wanted to get things off my chest, and tell someone they're beautiful with a star or something. I care about you Like I care about all my friends. Which is a hell of alot more than I care sabout me. I love you.
